Nice building, but horrible service; staff seems to despise residents

The building is nice, apartments are quiet for the location, location convenient to transportation and highway. If they had even minimal service, I might stay for those reasons. But, not only is service lacking, they are downright rude any time you try to suggest that taking care of things in the building is somehow their responsibility. You can rent a condo in the area for same price or less with better appliances, etc. I considered doing that, but rented here because I wanted the services of a door person. However, the staff is so rude, argumentative, and lazy, that it has been the worst thing about living here. I don't expect them to suck up to me, but just want the most basic service.

I have been here 6 months and thought/hoped the problems would be fixed, but the management seems to care about nothing but cashing the outsized rent checks. Absolutely do not rent here. Biggest issues:
-Maintenance and general upkeep: hallways are dirty, garbage room gets so full you can't open the door, elevators don't work when it's windy, takes weeks for them to change lights in hallways when they burn out, etc.
-Security: there is none. If there is a problem, they won't even call the police for you because "it is not their liability." Front desk people are rarely at the desk and buzzer system is useless, so residents end up letting every randon person in that tries to get in. Alternative is that your guests get stucj outside for twenty minutes because no one will let them in, and end up calling you via cell and you have to walk down and let them in.
-Service for problems: they make a big deal about calling you back withing 24 hours. However, once they call you back, they consider the problem solved and cross it off their "to do list." Solving the actual problem is apparentlt not a metric they care about.
-Concierge attitude: if there were not someone sitting there, maybe I wouldn't expect service, and maybe I wouldn't be so frustrated. These people will do absolutley nothing for you. Ever. They will hassle you about using the luggage cart for "too long" because they had to wait for you to come back and want to go on break, having an unregistered guest in guest parking (which you couldn't register because no one was at the desk), expecting them to make a maintenance call when something is broken. Really, I'd prefer they fired them all and gave me a cut on the rent.
-Dogs. Yes, I love them, but people need to take responsibility for them, and if they don't, management needs to take some action. The dogs pee and poop in the parking garage, in the hallways, in the elevators, and in the bushes immediately next to the front door with complete impunity.
-Basic infrastructure: have had problems with electric billing; phone system is unique so not regular ATT service-have had problems with billing and service; can't get real cable, it's a re-seler of direct TV that is only opne during the day, so you can't call with problems/questions, more expensive than regular directTV yet fewer channels; not compatible with recordable cable box, so much for high tech. Garage gates sometimes doesn't work buzzer system doesn't work, lots of problems with keys and access system.

Thank god, I heard the truth before committing based on their false marketing. So any recommendations for a decent 1BR luxury apartment in Mi.Bay/SoBe area?
