I rented a studio at the Baycrest for 3 months while doing a temporary traveling job. I rented through Citiland Corporation and I found them to be pleasant and they returned my $1500.00 deposit without a problem. I had a cute studio apartment- the carpet was filthy but other than that it was fine (I covered everything with rugs because I knew I wouldn't be there long enough to bug them to replace it). There was a lot of street noice because I was on the second floor overlooking Harrison street but I thought that the building itself was well-insulated with regard to neighbors- I never heard anyone walking above me or on either side of me.
The location of the building is in a kind of boring area of SF but it's easy to walk to the Bart to get anywhere else. Overall I thought it was a positive experience renting from the Baycrest. The interior of the building was well-maintained and I liked the art/carpet/interior colors.
