A Good Place-The Bottom Line

Bayside is a good place to live. After reading all of the opinions, let me set it straight. I've been there 6 years. Noise is only a problem if you live next to someone unthoughtful or the dumpsters are behind your unit. For the nasty noisemakers, just call security -- they respond fairly quickly and take care of it. They even evicted someone (very juvenile 30 something) that continued to break the noise rules. Got a maintenance problem' It will be fixed swiftly. Mice/Rats' This can happen due to all of the new building construction in the area. Bayside is kept clean and if you have a rodent problem, they do all they can to remedy the problem. BTW, the mouse thing happened once to me and I was on the 1st floor with my door open for arrival of new furniture. Snobs'' Who cares, there are snobs all over the world. I talk to nice people, both residents and management, at my apartment all of the time. Best bet: 501 Delancey St. building. This has the highest ceilings, and due to construction is more noise proof. Get something facing the courtyard. Lastly, whenever I needed the manager, he responded swiftly to all of my requests. I was fair...he was fair. Enjoy!
