I've lived here for almost two years, and I couldn't ask for more. I'm moving down to the peninsula to be closer to work, but I'm very sad I'm leaving. If you work in the city, especially in the financial district, you couldn't ask for a better place!
Bayside's location is incredible, including the weather. (It's almost never foggy!) The South Beach area has been developed more recently, and there are now great restaurants, shopping, nightlife, Safeway, and (of course) the ballpark within walking distance.
I'm in a two bedroom, and it's quite big. The complex feels very calm and peaceful, especially if your apartment looks inwards toward one of the courtyards. I see trees and flowers out my windows instead of cars, and I hear the fountains instead of street noise. Combined with so many things within walking distance, this adds to the European feel.
There are three pools, each with a hot tub, two gyms, and a number of common areas and multi-purpose rooms. The buildings are clean, modern, and well-equipped. The rent is surprisingly low for the area, but it's slowly rising.
In closing, if you're interested in the area, and you're looking for something high-quality that won't break the bank, you'll love Bayside Village.
