Bayside Village

Nice Place To Live But Lacks the Charm of SF From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/20/2002 Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2001   Bayside is in an excellent location, having easy freeway access and being on the muni line. The grounds are well maintained and there have planned social activities. Management, including the social director (2000-01) were unfriendly. Perhaps things have improved. The rent is high and they will raise it every year, not a good thing to do if you want to avoid tenant turnover. There are few street parking spaces and the on-site underground parking rate is high. The place kind of reminded me of an upscale college dorm. It lacked charm, too sterile. Security was good and they promptly refunded our deposit upon vacating. I feel those apartments facing the ugly bridge should be discounted. There is a constant noise problem there, plus you get a view of trash on the hillside!
