so far, i'm 50-50 about the community living here.
past two months, everyone seemed so cold and unfriendly in the portion of the "village" where i was living.
now that i switched apartments within the community and moved into a different building, everyone here seems really friendly --> "hi" "see you around" "how's your moving going'" "do you need help" "i could help you with that box".... or just a smile :) sharing a lift or helping each other hold the door to the building often leads to a nice short exchange of friendlies.
management folks seem nice :) maintenance staff always have big smiles too :)
noise' well, i only hear my neighbour when i'm in the bathroom. i assume thats because the building layout has the next unit's bathroom on the direct other side of my bathroom wall...hence i hear the taps and stuff...not THAT loud so its bearable. otherwise, its nice and quiet on the top floor.
Warning: i used to live in a different apt in this community, and it was on a lower floor. i heard my neighbours above me. so that's not good. even now, i feel bad if i jump up in my kitchen to reach a top shelf ..cos i think my neighbours below will get a headache :P
so this place is great, IF you get a top floor apt. parking is WAY too expensive though but this is SF afterall ^_^
