don't be fooled by jerry's initial kindness! once you get inside, he will change overnight!! he is uncooperative, unkind, and unyielding in his attempts to make your life a living hell. you will be chastised for everything you do. how long it takes you to move your stuff in, the manner in which you use the garbage chute (''), the size of your laundry loads. your friends and family will be judged each and every time they come to visit you. if you come home past 11, you can be sure that jerry will pop his head out of his cave and dis you for something relative to what you're wearing or where you've been. you can kiss your security deposit goodbye, too, no matter how much effort you put in to leaving the place as you found it. "oops, there's some dirt there -- i'm gonna have to call a cleaner and that will cost you $500 from your deposit." i can remember standing in the hallway with jerry -- the two of us SCREAMING at each other. and yet i can remember bumping into him on the sidewalk, and him being as sweet as pie. it's as if he wants passing strangers to think he's the man, but he holds no regard for what the people living closest to him think. the man is a ----, plain and simple. DO NOT MOVE HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR SANITY!!!
