Carillon Towers

Towers of the City! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/22/2003 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2003 1 response   We have lived here for a couple of months. I can say that this has to be the best apartment in the City that I have lived in so far! The apartments are very spacious, painted a clean white, the noise from nearby Geary Streets and Van Ness Ave are minimal, the tenants are friendly ( which you don't find often in San Francisco), great views depending on floor. Management are OK, but the new receptionist is on the phone all the time and acts like she has been working here for years. Carillon allows pets, and the apartments are insulated very well for noise. The only problem is wind seeps through the windows and can become cold at night. There are heaters in every room. And also the noise from the air vent in the kitchen that is on 24hrs. There are washers and dryers on every odd floor number and are economically priced at $1.50 per wash and 25 cents to dry. The mail boxes suck, your key gets bent if you can't open your mail box, but it' s really a non issue. The gym is updated and good. The pool is indoor and heated, along the the jucuzzi and sauna. Which are great when you want to go swimming and it's cold outside. In the neighborhood there are alot of car break-ins with windows smashed in all the time. There are dishwashers in every apartment (which are great). Parking is additional as well is storgage. And parking meter maids are all over this neighborhood. This is a great complex overall. And another note...the maintenace guy Jose is cute!!
