Dog friendly (huge plus) nice mix of people. (it used to be really full of old people, now it's old/young/---/str8, etc. just like SF)

The pool is an awesome perk.

The only downside (and if you have imagination it's not a problem) is the room shape. Since the building is round each apartment is like a pizza slice. It makes for some interesting layout challenges.

The other downside (which I don't think you can really get around in SF) are the homeless people and drug users/dealers that hang around.
