I have lived in Central Towers Turk Street buildin going on 10 years & all I can say is tthat this place is by far the best place to live! The repair people are the best. All you have to do is fill out a repair request & in twenty fours the repair is done. The security staff is bar far the best. They will not let anyone up the apartments UNLESS they sign in & show picture ID, then they call the resident to see if the guest is expected. The common areas are clean, true the trash/laundry room do get trash all over them & sometimes smell, but all you have to do is tell the security guard & it is cleaned ASAP. The building is well kept & clean. Rebecca Harris the resident building manager is a person that listens & acts fast on what is asked of her; she has Central Towers running like a well oiled machine! It is also good to see that she lives in the Eddy Street building. As for the neighborhood, it has done a good turn around. The SFPD has cleaned up & gotten rid of the pimps & whores, the drug dealers & junkies--they do bimonthy sweeps of the neighborhood. The Turk Street building is so quiet that I sometimes think that everyone is dead. The location is good for public transportation is well within reach, MUNI is in CIVIC CENTER & the bus stops @ the corner of Turk & Hyde Street. Rent for a 1 bedroom is somewhat within market & so are the studio apaptments. I have to say that people in this city are paying sky high rent & getting a whole lot less & screaming bloody murder. I would say that living here is A VERY GOOD THING
