Heed the negative reviews! I have lived in this building for almost 5 years now; ALL the negative items are true! I had hopes that the increasing make-over of the neighborhood would help mitigate the lousy experience at this place, but it has not.
I am now in the process of having to SUE the WORTHLESS property company (Carmel Partners--STAY AWAY from them!) for damage caused by a fire sprinkler flood. In fact, from February through May 2004, there were FIVE SEPARATE INCIDENTS involving the SFFD, malfuntioning fire alarms, and flooded apartments.
Don't even waste your time with this gang of theives.

I'm curious - if you have hated it so much, why do you continue to live here? This is a legit question: I'm looking for a new apartment, and don't understand why someone would stay in a place they post such a negative review of. Certainly I heed peoples' warnings, though.
