I cant believe the amount of money some property owners want renters to pay. With the amount of people moving OUT of the city, they should be comparable to availability. City Lofts has kept the same price and will not lower. Its unbelievable. I understand the basics of business, but when times are tough, things should change. This is NOT what the City Lofts think. They should be willing to reduce rents or otherwise have more people move out. There is not a big demand to live with high rents these days. They try to give some deals, but it still doesnt work out to be a deal. I am just saying that this place is way too expensive and after looking around, I am deeply considering moving out once my lease is up. I have done some research and can get a better deal with more square feet and more services. So why am I here' Just waiting for the lease to expire...
Good luck to City Lofts, but please think about making rent more attractive and reward tenants who have lived here with loyalty by reducing rent and building a community instead of jacking up prices and providing services that no one wants. My feeling is that once a community has been built and people feel like they can make a change and make the City Lofts there home, then higher rent wouldnt be as big a problem. You would see reviews such as "The City Lofts is expensive, but I really like the place I live in and the amenities and services they provide are awesome." Right now, the reviews are all the same on this online rating system, and they arent very good. I wish management would make a strategic change instead of having a high turnover of renters.
I came here looking to live in the city at a time when everyone was. This place seemed great at first, but now that I have lived here for a while, I realize that this isnt the best place. I moved away from the city when I was young and came back here because it was an awesome place to live. For the same price I am paying here, I could buy a house where I used to live in Boston. If I were someone coming to look to live in the city, dont look here.
