First of all, we don't hate it... We are common folks who still see value in looking out for our neighbors... knock that... I once asked management , as an employee, to consider hosting a community forum for reidents to address their concerns and promote a positive tone... I was laughed out of the room. They said that any time there was a forum at a community, residents would only use it to complain and defame the community.
That could not be further from the truth. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of these forums for communities throughout the country/world that are used for the benfit of those who CHOOSE to reside within...
They simply are not there to make residents happy. They are there to increase profits.
FACT: The 2 month notice 2 month penalty early termination fee management accesses for leases is illegal. I questioned that many times and was always told that we didn't want to tell people that. That it was their fault if they did not know the law. We are talking about college students, families with children, people who lost their jobs being extorted out of, AT MINIMUM, thousands of dollars. <>
FACT: The first person I leased to had their hme broken into within 3 days of moving and had 2 computers stolen. Perfect timing right'
FACT: The following week someone had their car broken into the night they moved in... (but not a bad neighborhood right''')
FACT: Housing projects less than one block away and that doesn't infer gentrified projects. We are talking gutter projects.
Don't think theft is a problem' Consider that the people who post negatively were once your neighbors and you have far more to benefit from investing consideration and favor in those who are common, rather than a multi-million dollar company...
<< My apartment had repeated break in attempts by employees... they had to put my apartment on a "manager's key" so that management would be the only ones who had access.
FACT: AT LEAST one "brothel" operates from the Fillmore Center and I obviously know becuase I worked there.
FACT: I do "know them outside the management office" and tenants/former tenants outside the facility, as well. Everyone knows the Fillmore Center is a $hyt hole except for people new to town or desperate enough to sacrafice so much to save a few bucks...
I am still close friends with three people I knew while working there and we have a running joke that I had to tell them lies to get them to move in... withhold information...
FACT: Your post was written by managment or you were asked to write it by them. Again, I worked there and know how this works. I know several former employees who have posted here from time to time to save people the hastle of dealing with this company. (The people are doing their best in the office, but the company and upper management are $hyt.)
Naturally, somebody will negate what I am saying in an effort to have it appear that there is a majority who don't agree with what is shared here... a false majority as at least 90 percent of the positive feedback that was written here when I worked for the company was written by employees.
it is all too much.

Why don't you just say that you work for the FC and give up the fight... It is a losing battle, read the reviews. You can stop belittling people. All you are doing is promoting the fact that the FC employees are jerks who are just out for themselves. Too sad.

Here is something that is funny, I work for a property managment company. We in the industry don't care about this website. We laugh it. We are always looking to see what horrible things people are saying about our buildings, It's funny. We love to see who is whinning about us. My company has one of the worst reps in the city and we couldn't care less. We are still getting tennants, Regardless of what "Crooks" all these posters say we are!! I love how people on here think that their opnions are being noted by potential residents. It's funny, It's as big of a joke at TIC rallys, It's not stopping anyone from buying Or renting a place. It's a waste of your time. No one takes it serious, Every major complex in the city on here as a horrible review. 95% of all tenants complain about where they live. It's a waste of time to write a bad review. If you think I am kidding go into property management, then wait till someone calls you a wh*re or an A**hole because you had to charge back on an apartment that some thrashed. Get a clue guys, This is really tough work, It's dealing with stupid people like you that makes all of us property managers so darn angry all the time. You wonder why we are "mean" it's because you would like us to give you the farm and you want nothing to do nothing in return to deserve it. Give us a break, You people pay less then almost anyone in the city for what you have. If you don't like it MOVE, Move to Soma or to Pacific Heights, You don't know what Mean people are really like till you have dealt with some of those people. Check out Avalon at Mission Bay, Pay $5K a month and have the same problems that you say you have at the Fillmore center, Just take it as a part of living in the city. It's just funny as all. I know you will all say, They must work for the fillmore center, Now I have to do some real work unlike the rest of you complainers.

WRONG. We were actually complaining about break ins which were comiitted by the same group of identified individuals...
We were complaining about people being murdered...
We were complaining about excessive fines and fees... something which is not mirrored by every property in the city... not even every major property in the city. I also work for a property management company in SF and have been in the industry for many years longer than you, dear, more than likely.
We are not taking issue with all properties. However, sometimes, there are "crooks" in any industry, and it can only be seen as commendable and responsible to voice our opinions.
And for the record, properties Do take these forums VERY seriously. Your inability to accurately speak about that reflects the time you may or may not have spent in the industry.
Last thing... can you share the source of your numbers? You mentioned that ý of all tenants complain about where they live.

Soooo...... you post in different topics... with different names... and recently wrote, "I think I know who you are" to a resident with a leaky roof.... but... you've "never lived here, never worked here, never will..."
You're just sharp as a whip, aren't you?

I am so grateful for these reviews... I had already had my heart set on this place due to its proximity to Jtown and the Fillmore being a favorite venue of mine. However, NOTHING is worth my privacy or safety or sanity being that threatened...these reviews could even be saving mine or someone else's life! Of course people complain about where they live...I dont like where I'm at, but only because it sucks for less severe reasons than being somewhere that I could possibly get mugged, raped, or killed. Anyone who tries to defend this place after the perpetually mounting evidence is clearly retarded or associated with the problem. Thank you reviewers!
