Rent is jacked up at every renewel, but the building contiues to depreciate at a rapid rate. This place is just extremely poorly maintained because management doesn't care. Things never get fixed, literally. I'm not sure how the "ghetto" folks can afford this place, but there are a lot of ghetto people living here and you will see them in elevator, common area, and security does nothing. If you want to get the feeling that you're living in an overpriced public housing project, the Fillmore Center is right for you, but just don't expect any high end or even mid end privilges.
