The last 2 weeks have been fun near the Fillmore Center!

Recent shootings in and around San Francisco s Western Addition:

1 Jan. 27 Jamal Smith shot to death on 1100 block of Eddy Street.

2 Feb. 5 Drive-by shooting on 1100 block of Eddy wounds 18-year-old man.

3 Feb. 11 Anthony Hunter Jr., 24, shot to death on 1200 block of Eddy.

4 Feb. 11 Girl, 13, wounded at Grove and Laguna streets.

5 Feb. 12 Tony McDougal, 33, fatally shot at Hayes and Baker streets.

6 Feb. 12 Unidentified man shot at Haight and Fillmore streets.

ANON !!!! Obviously, don't move to the 1000 -1200 block of Eddy. Oh, I forgot!! Those are 5 to 6 blocks away in a city owned development so you can't rent there anyway. All the others are not even close to The Fillmore Center, so what's your point ???? Scare tactics are so 70's unless you're a Republican politician. --------- ---

this is a great place to live, but thanks for the stats that have nothing to do with this complex. turn off your police scanner and start enjoying your life.

i lived in that hellhole for 2 1/2 years...heard gunfire almost everyday...also, seeing blood in the elevators and pee frequently was always a treat. - that was when the elevators worked, which was rare. Last, getting robbed in a "secure" building is totally worth the nice view of the projects where people got shot on a regular basis. At least 6 others that I know of have been robbed in the 1510 eddy bldg as well...cops say it was an inside job. good ol --------- --- is probably enjoying my ipod, my camera, my laptop and my palm pilot from his --------- now! go ---!

I have been living here for 5 years now. The building is pretty, the landscape is well-maintained and the people in the maintenance office are courteous and very responsive. The complex is clean, the amenities are great, the views are amazing. This is also a great neighborhood. Safe, clean, and everything is within walking distance. Parking is comparatively cheap. The only thing I don't like are my fellow tenants. They complain so much about so little.
