You can do better, trust me. The security here is my biggest complaint. People who don't live here walk in and out of this place, behind residents as they enter. Security guards either aren't watching or just don't care. There may as well be no lock on the front door, and the locks on individual apartments doors are nothing special. Fillmore Center rents out apartments as dorms and we've had to call many times to have loud parties shut down. College kids party in the courtyard loud enough for everyone to hear and security won't do anything unless you call and ask. Our hallway frequently reeks of weed. And the apartments themselves are finished with the cheapest finishing imaginable, from the carpet to the countertops to the appliances. It's really awful all around. They slam you with hidden fees- really, who rents and pays water and garbage-- and raise rents every year, as much as they can. Don't live here, really, especially if you are a woman. It's unsafe, and ugly.

You can do better ... trust me !! Every Jewish mothers advise to their daughters. I never thought I'd see THAT here. And parties???? In San Francisco ???? Weed ???? In San Francisco ???? I'm shocked. Did you complain to management when you moved in and found that they had changed out the knee deep carpet, granite counters and solid cherry cabinets you saw when you previwed the place, for the ones you had when you moved in? I'm sure that if you had, they would have put them back. Boy, those sneaky hidden fees got you too?? Yeah, lots of people it seems don't read what they sign when they rent a place. You probably missed this clause as well: "TFC RULES: if you smell weed in the hallway on your floor, and can identify which apartment it is coming from, the residents of that apratment must offer to share their stash with you. The precentage split will be in direct proportion of the square footage of your apartment, compared to theirs. Any disputes regarding actual square footage will be resolved by Building Engineering. The Chief Engineers decision will be final". After all, this IS San Francisco. Penthouse Bob
