The Fillmore Center is a scandal. This place has no class, morals, or integrity. For a luxury apartment you would think you wouldn't have to fear burgularies but that's not the case at in this ghetto fabulous complex. The security is a joke. The only protection they provide is financial backing for themselves. They don't care who you are, seriously I've lived here for years, no love for me, and my neighbor, who has worked as a the head engineer here for almost a decade well, they still take advantage of him in his old age as well. They allow ANYONE to live her. NO credit check no background check, so don't be surprised when you car or you apartment is broken into.

WARNING LOOK ELSEWHERE! Seriously do yourself a favor, save a buttload of rent money and move somewhere safer! SEk1KnECheF1ATXbXtrZ

NOFILL !!!! By your own admission, you've lived here for years. If your only 'love fest' experience is with a TFC employee, you must be one cranky neighbor. Why have you stayed "FOR YEARS"?? Perhaps The Haight might be a better locale. You could mingle amongst the left over Flower Children. I think Wavy Gravy is still alive and well there as well. As to the burglaries and such, SFPD confirms that property crimes in the area are at historic lows. I'm sure the ' c bar' devices on the apartment doors contributed to that. And I can state emphatically that the incidents of gun shots is practically non existent. When we first moved in (8 years ago), not a week went by without them. Now, I can't recall the last time I heard any. Security here is better than most. Without a door man, it's impossible to keep everyone out that shouldn't be there. Unless you have your own private garage, the entry system will take time to close when you drive in. I'm amused by your inclusion of the Head Engineer in your rant. How could he possibly have survived 10 years as a resident. Employees still have to sign leases and pay rent like the rest of us. I'm curious how he feels about the 'old age' remark. In addition, he is a member of a very strong Union with a Shop Steward who will file a complaint at the drop of a hat. So I suspect you don't speak for him here. There must be a reason he's lived and worked here for a decade. No background or credit check?? Please, get your facts straight. A friend of ours just moved in and had to wait for both before his lease was signed. So if you need help moving out, look me up. Penthouse Bob

This is very questionable. I am a in the Fillmore Center and I have had my attempted burglary in my current apartment, thankfully my apartment was saved by my dog's barking two other residents of my building were not so lucky this was in 2007! I have the police records to back it up. I'll can prove this in court, you have no place flagging my review! The Fillmore Center violates numerous California Civil Codes and as a informed tenant, I am sick and tired of being exploited and abused. Penthouse Bob, where how can I contact you?
