Stay away from this landlord. They do not return calls, or make repairs. It took me 9 months to get my heat turned on. The building is an absolute dump! I can hear right through the walls. I have to plunge the toilet and sinks almost every use. My windows are painted shut. Both of my sinks leak and my light switches are broken. I'm leaving as soon as the lease is up. The building manager, Oscar, is a complete lazy jerk. He always says he will fix things on "Thursday, maybe" and never shows. The landlord has also "lost" rent checks before. I'm really afraid they will not return my deposit when I leave because they have no working telephone number to be reached at. The also do not respond to mailings.
