I've had a number of dealings with the manager, Matt Kessler. The sewer pipe for one of his buildings broke in my back yard. It took legal action for him to finally clean-up the mess. He refuses to reimburse me for some of the plants that I lost due to them being drowned in raw sewage. Matt Kessler does not return phone calls, He has hung up on me a number of times, and he won't fix problems with his buildings until he is forced to by the city or the courts. A number of my neighbors have had similar problems with him. Matt Kessler is truly a slumlord. He does not care about Hayes Valley or its residents. Do yourself a favor and do not rent from Hayes Valley Properties.

The new CREW at Hayes Valley Properties, Works Hard and Gets Results. Kelly, is Matts sister and She is Very Much on Her toes. She has a lot on her plate. Considering all she does getting work orders in and Hiring a CREW that is as prompt as they can, Kelly and her CREW are very hard workers. If I have a problem with my apartment I don't wait until years of neglect to call for repairs. I call as soon as It happens so I can get a work order in and get the repairs needed. There are a lot of people in this Hayes Valley Properties Community and some repairs or more important than others But they all are important. Be Slow to Anger. Having Anger tempertantrums will show nothing in the long run. There is only so much Matt and Kelly can do. I Know that Kelly really wants good for everyone here.
