Small but quiet and good central location

Bulding has 160 units, 4 of those are junior one bedrooms, the rest are studios of approximately 300 square feet. It's a quiet building (although an outer apt facing the street would have traffic noise), almost all single people of all ages. Bulding has recently changed ownership and resident manager but no major apparent changes. Apartments are small but just fine as long as you don't entertain more than one person at a time. What has kept me here is that I got the apartment for what is now incredibly cheap rent, and it's under rent control. I've never had any hassles from neighbors or management. Tenants keep to themselves, it's not a social place. Parking is on-street in Area G, you have to do a little hunting but far easier than most parts of the city. Ralph's Grocery is across the street, buses run on the Sutter, Post and Geary (all within 1-2 blocks). Electric bill has never been more than $15/month. Very nice neighborhood, 3 blocks from the top of Pacific Heights (Lafayette Park). Thank god I found this place and didn't have to settle for something in the Tenderloin!
