A recent posting (11/6) does not have its facts right. The mold/mildew lease addendum is precautionary not because there are any problems, most of it is common sense, just incase you don?t have any its put in writing. Also, the exhaust vent above the stove does vent to the out side if you open the cupboard above the stove you will see that. Of course there is no air-conditioning, its San Francisco. The place is brand new so it?s not perfect there were some kinks that were being worked out. Was some confusion with packages, but seems to be no problem now. Construction is finished so noise and construction dust are no longer an issue. Parking spaces are different sizes because we drive different size cars. Overall, its an apartment not your own home in the country, so there are other people and all the normal issues of have neighbors and being in a city. You have your own washer and dryer and a brand new quiet apartment. I have never even heard my neighbors and I have them on all sides. There is an Albertsons and a Starbucks down stairs. Has a great little community feel, starbucks knows my drink, neighbors are nice, security knows who you are, and everything is close. If you are without a car like I am, its really easy to get everything you need. Maybe bart is two blocks not one, but its really no difference, its still just around the corner.
