After comparing many apartments in the area I was very happy to become a resident at Oceanview Village. The staff was very helpful in the rental and moving process and is very friendly on a day to day basis.
The rent was comparable to other apartments in the area that were smaller, older, and dirtier. Plus the apartments had more perks like W/D and dishwashers. You get what you pay for and I feel I am getting my moneys worth.
Aside from little annoyances that happen anywhere when you rent: minor repairs. The only problems I have had with the complex are the residents who feel they are above the saftey and common curtesy rules; they feel parking rules don't apply to them and park in fire lanes and in no parking places when there is ample parking in the garage or on the street if they don't want to pay for a space. The management is very good at trying to fix problems to accomodate all residents and other than the occasional rude resident who thinks they deserve to disrupt everyone elses living space the atmoshpere here is very nice and friendly.
Overall this is by far the nicest place I've rented and I would recommend Oceanview to anyone who wants a friendly place to live with many good features and a convienant location.
