PROS:
-beautiful, large (for SF) units
-washer and dryer in the bathroom
-brand new appliances including dishwasher
-mostly quiet neighbors

CONS:
-way too expensive, and they are raising our rent!
-parking being raised from $35 to $100/month for UNASSIGNED spaces. unfortunately, we're not like some of our neighbors who apparently dont need to work and take the nice big parking space right next to the door and park there for weeks. if you drive your car everyday, you'll be relegated to the parking spaces farthest from your elevator and barely big enough for a compact.
-we HAD 2 cars, but couldnt afford a 2nd spot. i parked my car outside on the street in front of the bldg, because i was told that we would be ticketed for parking in the back (oceanview put up their OWN no parking signs). my car was stolen from the front of the building. i now walk to bart from the back exit and see the same cars parked on that back street every day. and watch tenants walking into their oceanview apts. we were also told no one could park in the back alleyway, it's reserved for prospective tenants and moving trucks. everyday i see the same cars parked back there like it's their parking space. the mgmt lies to it's tenants all the time.
-the fire alarms go off all the time. there are fire trucks screaming in the parking lot EVERY weekend. usually early on sunday mornings.
-one of the "perks" was the bally's fitness opening up "soon". we've been here for a year now and it's still not open.
-aside from the albertson's and rite aid downstairs... there's nothing else in the neighborhood. mgmt promised restaurants and other stores opening.. nothing so far. i think they are having problems leasing all the empty commercial spaces.
-feels safe on the property, but the neighborhood surrounding is less than desireable. i do not feel safe walking from bart to home after dark.
