Clean, Convenient, Modern, Well Kept, Safe

I think the majority of people that have put in bad reviews lived here when it was just starting up. When the stores hadn't opened yet. I've lived here for 2 years, and it's improved dramatically.

This place has convenient stores located right on the property. Albertsons, Rite-Aid, Bally's Total Fitness (Gym), Hollywood Video, Extreme Pizza, Mail Place, Starbucks and Subway. Plus soon there will be a dentists office, and another restaurant.

The grounds are well kept and clean. Flowers are planted seasonally.

The units are Modern, being only a few years old. All new appliances in each unit, including dish washer, washer and dryer, and a new fridge. The building was well built, and home insulation is very good. I've lived in older places that have such bad insulation that I feel like I'm sleeping outdoors at night. This place is not like that, most of the time you don't need to turn on the heater.

The location is close to Lake Merced, Golf Courses, The Beach, BART (5min walk), close to the freeway (280), Daly City Century Theaters, Stonestown Mall.

Also, the place is safe, there are 24 hour security guards that patrol the grounds. They're available by cell phone at all times of the day. People that have had their car broken into, were parking on the street, and it serves them right. The indoor parking that you can get is secure, and can only be entered using a key. The security regularly patrols the garage to look for strangers.

One drawback is that you need to subscribe to Direct TV, and can't get Comcast Cable. There is a huge satelite on the roof, and all residents can get Direct TV and nothing else. If you're like me and like Direct TV, then there it's a plus.

Plus if you can buy the unit after a while, the prices have skyrocketted, they used to go for 435k for a classic style unit, but now the same unit is selling for 520k and they're going quick.
