Paramount Apartments

The noise is UNBEARABLE! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 11/11/2005 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2005   Some of the views on the higher floors may be nice, but that's all overshadowed by the relentless noise that surrounds you. If it's not ear-splitting sirens at all hours (the firehouse is right next to the W Hotel, and the firetrucks come screaming right down 3rd St.), then you have to deal with non-stop construction. It's either constant street construction that never gets done (jack-hammering, etc) or it comes from all the new buildings that surround you. the best part is, they all get to work after 7:00 PM, and go until the morning. That's a great way to relax after a tough day at the office. Believe me, it will drive you insane. AVOID THIS PLACE if you want any peace and quiet!
