Good & Bad

I have lived here for over a year.The good- I have found the staff to be very nice, when I was leasing they were kind, whenever i need a repair i am fastly served, and as I have to go to them to make complaints about whatever they quickly answer me or give solution. The location is probably the best in the city- close to union square, whole foods 4 blocks away , safeway is about a 20 minute walk, the movie theater and Bart are a block away,etc. AG Ferrari foods and Vino Venue below on street. And the roof top is amazing so relaxing. Roof top is well kept.
And now for the bad. I live on a floor where several of the renters smoke. I can smell the smoke through the vents and the hallway smells like a cheap motel at times. I had gone to complain and i was told that they can smoke if they want and for me to close my vents- that does not help. The noise keeps you awake at night from the construction on whatever that is always going on and the fire station a block away. Residents are allowed to have animals and they allow them to use the bathroom right outside the door, sometimes they dont make it and go in the elevator- the sidewalk outside often smells but it is washed off every morning. I can hear my annoying neighbor above me- she walks around at all hours- noise travels here. The dry cleaners - though very convienent to have in the building no not speak english well and that is annoying when you are giving instructions.
