I lived there for 1 year(2005 - 2006). If you can afford it, this place isn't that bad.
Pros:
1. Almost new.
2. Great views.
3. Great to have a door person. They are very friendly.
4. Nice work out room.
5. Very convenient location.
6. nice bathroom compared to other rentals.
7. safe neighborhood. easy to get cabs.
8. I had a T unit. I never heard my neighbors above me or next to me. With the T units you share one wall(the kitchen wall). Get a T unit if you can.
9. great size for a 1 bedroom(about 800 square feet)
Cons:
1. Very strict on leases and subletting. good luck trying to get out of one or cutting a deal with them.
2. Parking with the valet takes time to get used to.
3. noisy, noisy, noisy. They are always ripping up mission street and doing construction. Also, the fire station is a block away and it is one of the busiest in the city at all hours. The windows aren't as insulated as I had hoped. I was thirty floors up and could still hear the fire trucks.
4. windows will never get cleaned. They will tell you that they will do it, but they don't.

Thank god, I heard the truth before committing based on their false marketing. So any recommendations for a decent 1BR luxury apartment in Mi.Bay/SoBe area?
