Addressing the Mice Infestation...

I've been living here for awhile, and after the fire, we've had a problem with mice. I do not think that the building is going about the right way of exterminating them. I've seen that they've been using mouse traps, which is cruel and disgusting. But I think they've also been using poison, for I've seen quite a few dead mice laying around. Outside the window closest to the door (and gate) that leads to the basement, when I look out, there are SEVEN dead mice laying there, lifeless---three of which are babies. If the building wants to get rid of the mice, a more friendly approach would be to purchase the "Humane 'Smart' Mousetrap" from the Peta Catalog: http://www.petacatalog.org/prodinfo.asp'number=HP200. Purchasing five to ten of these, putting a bit of food in them and then checking on them daily, would surely solve most of the mice problems. I'd know, because I bought one myself and caught four mice from it, before accidentally breaking it. The mice could be released outside, in a park, or elsewhere. I think this would be a more clean and humane way of dealing with the problem.
