Haven?t Lived here, But Could

We looked at this place while apartment hunting for a 1 bedroom somewhere with good access to public transportation.

The neighborhood is interesting - a teeny bit on the sketchy side, but with restaurants and a market across the street.

The entrance is nice and appears well kept. We spoke with Daniel there and he was extremely friendly and gave us a great tour. They were very up-to-date in amenities. The fitness room was nice and the machines appeared well cared for. They have a "cyber room" which has a computer with DSL and a printer/scanner and a community TV/VCR. Access is restricted to residents and can only be accessed by staff letting you in (they are available 24 hours) - good security. Concierge at the desk overnight and office staff will take packages.

There is a common roof deck and laundry rooms and even a little snack area where you can get soda and a treat if you just must have something.

The residents seemed mostly young and varied - not just homogenized snooty people.

Also, if you get there early enough they have cookies and coffee in the management office every day.

The two bedroom we looked at - really a combination of their one Bedroom layout with the Junior 1-bedroom - was decent, if small. The property appeared to be a bit older - the kitchen somewhat dated. Electric appliances, dishwasher and disposal. They will paint one wall the color of your choice from a selection provided. They are doing some building remodeling and really seem to care about their property.

The rent was significantly less expensive than Rincon Towers, which is what we eventually went with - and Post Street actually provide more amenities. When we spoke to them they said they were very reasonable about rent increases (and decreases, if the market demanded).

I would recommend taking a look, if you need something a bit less expensive for good facilities.
