Centrally located, Post Street Towers was comfortable living. Most of the rental agents were nice and helpful. Some of the guys working the front desk at night barely spoke English and, therefore, were less than helpful if you needed to get something done...best that you get all your office needs met during regular business hours. Getting stuff repaired sometimes required some extra effort. I found putting your requests in letter format and submitting them in person got a better response than simply mentioning problems to office workers. Noise level was only a problem when fire engines went by (can't be helped) or a party was thrown in nearby building (again, can't be helped). Grounds were well kept. Laundry, workout room, and lounge were always spotless. Recycle bins available and were never allowed to pile up and look trashy. Some first timers to SF area might be scared because of vicinity. Tenderloin is about 2 blocks south and I rarely had a problem. Most of the time I found myself ignoring the panhandling and nothing ever came from it.
