At first I liked very much living in Rincon Towers. However, any one who is at all accommodating to tenants in the rental office is quickly fired as this is an investment building. I lived in the building in two differnet aparmtnets for 10 years. I started at a rent of $750 and left at $3500. At one point during my tenancy, I was told that a prospective tenant had offered $1000 more a month than I was paying for the layout I had. I could either match their offer or move when my lease was up. I found this behavior shocking at least. I moved because I was told that renewal leases would only be offered for 6 months (after living the building for almost 10 years) When I moved in I had to sign a document acknowledging that the building would be condos in the year 2000. I stayed with the intention of buying my apartment, but the building changed hands in the giant game of real estate monopoly and the offere was rescinded duirng the dot com craze. I like the building but there are no ethics to be found anywhere near the owners or their agents on the premises.
