Because of its central location the building is able to attract a steady flow of demand. Management is all to aware of this and consistantly looks to increase rent regardless of market conditions. Anyone who tells you differently is most definitely the exception. They building has an extremely high turnover rate due to the fact that many people just aren't willing to accept the increase in rent but constant demand for unites makes this an acceptable trade for management.
The fact that Rincon management simply doesn't feel the need to extend itself to satisfy its renter is reflected not only in the constant increases in rent but also in the basic building materials being used. When the building was put up in 1989 they clearly understood that they would have a constant demand for the location and as such used relatively cheap materials throughout. Plastic counter tops and towel racks that fall off the walls once a month make it clear that they do not feel the need to invest in the renter.
No doubt a great location for someone comfortable with this situation. If you are looking for management that is looking to build long term relationships then this is definitly not the place for you.
