Decent buiding, bad neighborhood, neighbors, management

Building is decent. You can feel packed in because there are so many studios and one beds next to each other. Walls are pretty thick though, so you don't hear much.
Neighborhood terrible. Homeless and druggies just half a block away toward Market or 6th.
Neighbors stink, feels like half your neighbors are on welfare and have a drinking or mental problem or have their whole extended family in a studio. Kind of sucks thinking that you are paying 3 times the rent they are. And there has been smoke alarms in the middle of the night at least every other month.
Management is a pain. They have monthly "pest inspections". Probably to keep an eye on some of the less-responsible residents to keep them from trashing the place or something. Totally ridiculous montly invasion of privacy!
