We lived here for about nine months. The parking situation was very odd; different people paid different rates; they towed our car once because we weren't "in the system" even though we paid for a spot every month, they had "mis-registered" and accused us of stealing the space. We showed them canceled checks and they backed off.
Also, there are some "problem characters" in this building who have defaced the doorways, harassed people and smoke substances to the point that it was hostile to live there. We finally put in notice even though we didn't have another place to live because it got so frustrating.
Behind the building there is an alleyway where the parkind entrance is. Several times I saw youths knocking the video monitor out of place so that the security wouldn't have view over the back entrances.

What is awkward is that you think for some reason you know what a Section 8 person looks like. Trust me you don't! After getting a Section 8 Voucher I moved into the Fillmore Center. In the elevator I asked a woman how she liked living in the Fillmore Center. She said it was okay but you know they rent to Section 8 people...That's welfare you know. I just looked at her and so really. She got off on the 9th floor. I lived on the 12th. I guess she thought all section 8 people lived on the first 3 floors pitty!

Thank god, I heard the truth before committing based on their false marketing. So any recommendations for a decent 1BR luxury apartment in Mi.Bay/SoBe area?
