I've had a really good experience living here SR.

It's definitely a place designed for a city loving professional who places a high premium on having access to all the great things SF has to offer. Having the BART less than a block away has been awesome - trips to SFO have been a breeze (beats the $35 cab fare each way).

The building itself is secure and reasonably peaceful (rarely, if ever, do I hear ambient noise through the walls). The street noise is another story - the 6th Street sketchiness does spillover to Minna street - but again that's more of the occasion loud argument than anything really frightening. (Something people new to SF will have more of an issue with than old-timers).

The staff has been quite responsive to any needs (took them a day to fix my garbage disposal!).

The fitness room is a great thing to have such easy access to - right balance between free weights and machines.

Laundry rooms are rarely too crowded - the usual off hour strategy is sufficient to guarantee a washer and dryer or two.

Utilities (essentially electricity) has never been expensive.

Overall the experience at SOMA Residences gets a thumbs up!
