Decent place to live

The crowd in this complex is pretty mixed - young and old. Also, there are quite a lot of foreign people in the complex for some reason. The location is great as far as commuting to the valley or getting around town, but South Beach isn't much of a neighborhood. For instance, there's no real grocery store for several miles. You can walk to things such as Union Square and Pac Bell park of course. The other nice thing is that the apartments are pretty insulated from the noise - I don't think I've ever heard my neighbors in any direction. Parking also sucks - there isn't any street parking nearby to talk about, and a space in the garage costs $200/mo. The hot tub closes at 10pm - they should keep it open until 11. Rent is pretty steep for what you get.
