If I could rate this 0 stars, I would. A good story on how awful the service is at this place is when I came back to find my place broken into and robbed-yes ROBBED over Christmas vacation. The police came to my apartment and when the building manager arrived from the South Beach office, the first words out of his mouth were, "We're not liable for this". I was pissed. They also failed to ask the neighbors if they saw anything which they said they would, and did absolutely nothing to improve security. They did however, make the lobby of their RENTAL OFFICE much nicer. It's obvious where their priorities lie. Besides this, the place itself seems cheap for the area, but the amenities are very marginal. In a neighborhood of mercedes apartments, this is a saab with a gutted interior. Don't believe their slick website or fancy lobby. Check out the actual units with the ultra cheap construction, crappy carpets, and 1970's applicances. Their obvious lack of interest in actual residents vs attracting new ones is evident in ultra-fast turnover. There's a moving truck in front of this place EVERY weekend. odusyNYCcZ7yL3Bj5JtG

Why is this ex-tenant dissing the police for not investigating the break-in when this is a review of the apartment complex. And did this ex-tenant even have both locks on their door secured to avoid this situation? And why blame the apartment building. When you rent a car and it is broken into - you don't blame the rental car company.

hard to imagine an apartment in this complex being robbed - this is a gated building with locked access at the gate, the front door and double locks on the apartments .... why this apartment out of 400 apartments - sounds dubious to me! i can't imagine a more secure environment - i have to imagine this author was specifically targeted

I've lived at South Beach Marina Apartments for eight years and can't believe this person's response. Martin Fay the Facilty Manager has always been courteous, respectful and responsive. I think this is sour grapes.
