What can I say... It's not new but everything works and they have been re-doing most kitchens and bathrooms prior to new tenant move-in. Parking is better than most areas... there is the occasional 5-minute circling but in most cases, street parking is available within a block. Signed up for a garage a year ago... still haven't received one though! ***NOTE*** You are not guaranteed a garage, there are limited amounts and a waiting list.

Decent neighborhood... but go a few blocks and it starts to go bad. It is across the street from Kaiser and they have security regularly patroling along the street. I feel safe going out to my car at night but not-so-safe walking 6 blocks to the Safeway. 38 Bus stops 1 block away and takes you downtown, to BART, and to Transbay Terminal (and to the Safeway for that matter). There is also a 38 Limited Bus and between the two, there is a bus every 5 minutes or so.

Laundry room leaves something to be desired. 5 washers and five very slow dryers. Gets backed up because washers take 30 minutes and dryers take an hour!!

My One-bedroom is nicely layed out! There is an office/dining area, fireplace, good closet space and decent-sized kitchen and bedroom. I've snuck in and seen other vacant apartments... their layouts vary. Some don't use the space as well. Depending on the unit you may get a city view. For most, it is hidden by the 8-Story Kaiser complex or other apartments.
