I can't believe how bad things have gotten since this building was bought by Skyline Realty, under the name of Trophy Properties. Construction has been long and laborious and now I guess there is some sort of lawsuit going on (city of San Francisco suing Skyline/Citiapartment/Trophy) for various violations from harrassing tenants to unsafe environments to doing construction without a license or permit. the sidewalk in front of the aparments main doors has been torn up for several months, which would be worse if you could actually use the front door but you can't. Seems it wasn't installed properly and now it is kept shut by the use of a long 2x4 board between the doorhandles. Access is limited to a small door off to the side. The rents have been jacked up to a ridiculous level for apartments that would rent for 900 - 1200 elsewhere. They are touting this as the up and coming neighborhood, but the same old prostitutes, addicts, crazies, and homeless are still hanging about, just adding more semi-yuppie young drunks to the mix. I'm on the next to the top floor and the noise from the street is incredible - sirens, shouting, singing, arguments, as if you were right there. Can't hear the tv anytime a firetruck, ambulance or police car goes by with sirens which is often.
Do yourself a favor -- RENT ANYWHERE ELSE.
