3 Year Review

I've been here 3 years now and I update it every year. Needless to say, each year the review gets worse. It actually started out very positive and I'll have to say, the second $100 rent increase in 2 years topped it off. That is almost 15% increase in rent and that is unreasonable! I am a very reasonable person and I don't mind an annual increase, but this is unethical. I must be one of their best tenants because I never make a noise and my apartment is immaculate inside. All the while, I'm stepping over beer cans and puke in the elevators and hallways. These are the people that I would think should be filtered out of the complex, but instead it's me. Ironically, I am a landord myself with 2 apartment buildings and a few single family homes. I love my good tenants and have done many good deeds to hang on to them. I know that it takes more money to turn over a unit than to keep a long term good tenant in. Now that I have addressed that issue, everything else seems less important as I don't think I will be here for my "4 Year Review".

Now that they have brought me up to market rate, there is no incentive for me to stay here anymore. Craigslist, here I come!
