Trinty Mangement Services = Slum lords
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 11/5/2003
Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2003
#1 - the mold problem still exists. Note the mold that grows from under the caulking in the bathrooms. The mold does not die when exposed to bleach, softscrub, or other cleaning solutions.
#2 - cheap carpet. I have killed one vacuum cleaner since I have lived here and still vacuum up half a bag of carpet fuzz when I vacuum.
#3 - contract varying late fees. The contract clearly states that late fees are 5% of the amount due, yet they try to charge $100 unless you mention this to them.
#4 - their rent invoices come approx the 21st-25th of the previous month. Upon mailing them I have had the letter lost twice, returned to me twice, and late twice.
Their invoice envelopes require nothing to be written as far as the recipient address and getting your check in on the 27th of the month does not mean it is on time. The check has to clear by the 1st. This is also illegal.
#5 - poor quality of appliances and restoration which had been done to the building. many of the sockets and switches in my apartment do nothing, this has been reported, however nothing has been done. The repair staff is incompitent and I seriously doubt the people who wired the fuse boxes were licensed electricians as the wires are spliced and not capped. Many of the sockets are not grounded, in one case one jack in a circuit is grounded and the other is not. The floors and countertops stain when pasta sauce comes in contact with them, even if the sauce is immediately wiped up. My oven is inoperable and the smell of ozone is produced (electrical fire) when it is turned on. This has been noted but not fixed.
#6 - expensive laundry - $2.25 a washer, $1.75 a dryer.
#7 - crackheads, lots of crackheads on the streets. I have been assaulted once at 11pm in front of the rent office (approx 1/4th of a block from the security guard and front door). Multiple friends who were visiting have had their cars broken into.
#8 - neighbors that don't understand quiet hours and play loud music at 1am on a work night.
#9 - the great american music hall - they leave their front doors open which are aimed directly at trinity towers.
#10 - trash in halls for weeks at a time, discarded cigarette boxes, butts, cola bottles, gum, etc.
This is pretty much everything. This apartment has been the worst I have lived in since moving to America.
