Of course the neighborhood is special but you know it before you move, I have never been attacked and you meet the same poor people everyday. Just say Hello and you will be ok..
Also how would you get a so good price for a big apartment in a nice building with 24h security desk, pool, jacuzzi, fitness center and even a view from your appartment'' Noise is just city noise.
Parking is cheap compared to other places, security guards are nice and the office manager is not as bad as people say and she is very efficient!
