The complex is resort-like but you don't generally go to resorts to be kept up all night long. The walls and celings are paper thin and a lower floor on the street is awful. You will hear cars all night, which sound like they are being driven into your living room. If you have a neighbor above you weighing more than 100lbs, it will sound like a sumo match is going on. But the building is great and it really makes you feel pampered just hanging out. These types kind of complexes are a dime a dozen all over the US, but in San Fran its a nice novelty. If you can get a courtyard view on the top floor go for it.
