I really, for the life of me cannot understand why this building has received such negative press from its tenants. I moved into the building about 3 weeks ago and I have found my experience to be absolutely wonderful. If we have had a maintenance request- it has been answered diligently within 24 hours. The staff are courteous and direct, the decor is warm and casual at the time, and the noise level of the area and building are extremely quiet.
My girlfriend and I actually waited 3 months for our apartment to become available because of the nature of the area. There is a multitude of things to do – whether it is movies, eateries, bars, boutique shopping, or just walking the various streets that lead from lower Pacific Heights to The Marina.
The facilities in the building are fantastic and ample.. .I.E. The gym, parking, laundry, the coffee shop and corner shop.
I believe that there is a lot of overindulged, wealthy 20-30 something’s in this building that have a major chip on their shoulders because their address reads Post rather than Pacific or Jackson. The safety level of the building is fine if you stay North of Geary. We walk to Japan Town at night often as well as up and down Fillmore- and we have had completely safe and satisfactory experiences.
I highly recommend this building.
