Its ok... From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 1/22/2008 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2008   I live there now, and since its convenient due to its location, i let a lot of things slide. The apartments themselves are pretty roomy, the view is nice...now the cons... Security here sucks, considering that the residents pay a security fee thats unacceptable, my neighbors car was broken into a little while ago and $2,000 worth of equipment was stolen, nobody heard or saw what happened. And nobody reembursed him... Recently there was an infestation of mice... YUCK! dont tell me its cause my apt. is dirty. Im the cleanest person ever! and also my whole floor had mice...so its not just me. The best that the management could do is send someone over and put a couple of mouse traps around the apt...fine The laundry machines are very often out of order, so if you come and you have three loads, 2 of the 5 machines will be broken, so you have to come back over and over... The damn fire alarm rings at least once a week, this is not one of those quiet beeps. Its the kind of ringing that drives you deaf, if you dont go outside, youll probably lose it. The worst part is that most likely theres no fire when it rings and the time it rings is usually 2, 3 or 4 am...so a bunch of neigbors in there pjs in 4 in the morning...not good. Another one is the noise, now my floor isnt too bad, but the Lowell dances can be heard all the way into my window. Recently they've alse been doing construction, and the constant drilling is annoying the hell out of me. And the worst is a drummer who lives two floors up...that can drive you nuts at 9 am on a sunday. Also windows lack screens, so you get all the mosquitos from lake merced in your window esp. during the summer. So invest in a good bug spray. So those are the cons...decide for yourself.
