Avoid Ghetto Neighbors and You'll Be In Paradise

This island is a great place to live if you can avoid the loud-ass, ghetto neighbors and the dreaded bus ride to and from the city - morning and afternoon is like a preview of the Jerry Springer Show. If you can afford parking in the city, I recommend driving in. Low-income housing is mixed in with the residential apartments and you have the use-less band of mis-fits known as the job corps near by. This all lowers the standard of living for the regular folks who appreciates the beauty and tranquility the island offers. I am very fortunate to be surrounded by good neighbors. I like it for now and would recommend it under the warnings listed above.
