USED TO BE a nice place From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/16/2007 Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2007   It is dad that the current management is more concerned about their profit margin than about the tenants. They do minimal repairs; then every few years go before the Rent Board and say that they are doing property improvement (by fixing the poor repair jobs) - they then pass these costs onto tenants through legal pass-throughs. This is their way of legally increasing the rents. They now allow animals but don't monitor the dog droppings and barking. There are students who live like they would in a dorm, so there is drinking, marijuana and smoking everywhere. And with the owners selling off property to the State University system this will be one LARGE dormitory - and not a place non-college kids want to live. By the way my car was broken into or vandalized at least once a year for several consecutive years.
