Parkmerced is NOT the ideal place. From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 12/19/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007 1 response   the only positive is it's location. Other than that, we've had problems with our toilets, one STILL DOESNT WORK through all the complaints. THEY STILL haven't fixed our lights under the cabinets after several visits, with their promises of "we'll come back tomorrow" THEY NEVER DO. Any stupid sign you put on your window they write you up. Parkmerced is UNORGANIZED with STINGY employees. They ripped us off for a parking permit. THEN when I asked for the statement of all previous bills the stupid woman replied "...uhhh our database is down." I saw their computers were working. They ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE. They just want money. PARKING IS HARD TO FIND, THERES NO GUARDS, FIRE ALARMS GO OFF LIKE CRAZY. THEY HAD A DAY WHERE FIRE ALARMS WENT OFF EVERY 10 MINS. It looks good on the outside but inside its a wreck. Next to one of the busiest walkways - towards SFSU, there is POOR LIGHTING. Actually NO LIGHTING AT ALL.
