Wish there were more sunshine From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 12/25/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   I moved to Parkmerced about 1 1/2 years ago. When I moved in I was disappointed in the condition of my apartment in comparison to the models that we were shown. I guess I did not put two and two together and be more prepared for older appliances, distressed floors, etc. when I moved in. However, I am now in love with my apartment. I live in a townhouse and would not trade my patio and back yard for anything. I have never lived in a townhouse before and I love it! Feels like a house. Wish there was cable outlets in everyroom but I can deal. The Farmers Market is awesome and I love the new paint. I haven't dealt much with the office staff but the maintenance team was quick to arrive when I had a minor flood in my bathroom and lately I have noticed a significant improvement in the landscaping. Overall, I really like it here. If I could afford to transfer into the upgraded apartment I would. Bottomline - This is a very large community and sometimes things happen. Having beautiful surroundings, large floorplans and a covered parking space in rent control apartment is a value in my mind.
