When reviewing the Park Merced one needs to disclose which Park Merced they are writing about, the Tower s or the Town homes. My perspective is that of a Tower tenant. I briefly looked a the town homes and decided that they were not my cup of tea, the town homes has not aged as well as the towers, the towers has a surprising open lay out and a timeless elegance. What I come to appreciate about the tower is that are relatively sound proof. I really like my view and the brightness of the apartment. It has a pleasant feng shui about it if you will. The parking is actually pretty good by San Francisco standards the longest I had to park is two short blocks. As far as the grounds go landscaping is definitely up to standards and I have no complaints on that. The office staff has been courteous and professional with me. The only complaints I have is the maintenance is not up to par the stairwells in the towers could be cleaner. The laundry is a good value at $1.50 for a large front loading wash although they need to put up more folding tables.
